God has truly blessed me with a year of complete Sabbath rest. Yes, it has been a year since I was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and it has been quiet a journey. I have learned much about myself and about God’s faithfulness. Thank you for joining me here. I hope you receive encouragement from my personal insights.
Physically I am much stronger. I still take a handful of pills each day (15 at last count) and I receive infusions of IVIG every three weeks. I still have good days and bad, but the blessings I have received have been amazing. Among them are an adorable little blondie who is six years old who prays for me regularly. There is a sweet family who lives in my neighborhood who has brought me hand-made cards and flowers. I have a friend who “ugly cries” for me sometimes. Oh and a couple of weeks ago I received a surprise in the mail; a canvas painted to resemble an index card with my favorite verse on it! I have been overwhelmed by the various ways my community has ministered to me and I am grateful.
Two precious sisters recently left me smiling for days.
Bless you for blessing me.
